A Necessity

It is astounding to me the homework my children get. They are doing things in third and fifth grade I had never heard about until high school! To help the kids keep up, we signed up for internet service athttp://get.wildblue.com. There was no way we could find everything we needed to know and use at the library especially with the budget cuts the library has had over the past two years. It seemed like they were never open when we needed or could go. Now that we can get online at home, it’s really freed up our schedule to be able to do homework when it is convenient for us. I had no idea the internet was a necessity for kids this young to be successful at school, but there is no way we would be able to complete most of their projects without doing some sort of online research. Heck, I’ve even had to look up the answers to some of their homework questions. I guess I’ve forgotten a lot from those early years!

Ayay! It’s officially spring! I can’t wait to start gardening. I’m excited to plant flowers and veggies.

I really love this doodle that was featured by Google. Pretty cool!
